CIR M08/03: 60 EARTH HOUR (MAR 28, SAT)

 

SMEJS wish to encourage all members and associates to join the 60 Earth Hour campaign by turning off your light for one hour as follows:

 

Date       :      March 28, 2009 (sat)

Time       :      8:30pm - 9:30pm

 

The campaign is to appeal to the citizens of the world to be aware of the global climate change. The global warming will bring misery and cause natural disaster. We hope everyone will be aware of the important of environment protection.

 

Earth hour aims to reach more than one billion people in 1,000 cities around the world.  More information available at http://www.earthhour.org.my/

 

The Earth hour is just the beginning in our effort to educate and cultivate the current as well as future generation to love earth.

 

Let participates for the earth hour, not only for March 28 but everyday one hour from now onwards. It will produce amazing results if everyone turns off the light everyday for one hour!
