Dear members CIR 4/08: ONE DAY SEMINAR ON FOOD REGULATIONS & MALAYSIAN STANDARD ON HALAL FOOD (8/9/2005) Institut Kimia Malaysia Cawangan Selatan will be organising the above seminar in collaboration with Jabatan Kimia Malaysia & supported by SMI Johor Selatan as follows: Date : September 8, 2005 Time : 8:15 am - 5:00pm Venue : Eden Garden Hotel, Johor Bahru This one-day seminar is intended to provide participants with better understanding of the requirements of the new Food Regulations on Nutrition Labelling & Claims (gazetted on 31 March 2003) and the Malaysian Standard MS 1500:2004 on Halal Food - Production, Preparation, Handling and Storage General Guidelines (gazetted on 10 July 2004).
