[INFO] CIR M05/10: “SEEING EYE TO EYE” SEMINAR (OCT 12, SAT)

Please be informed that The Rotary Club of Pasir Gudang will be organizing “Seeing Eye to Eye” Seminar as follows:

The principal objectives of this Seminar are as follows:

a)      To reaffirm Rotary’s commitment to Community Service in the Prevention of Blindness;

b)      To showcase the contribution of Rotary Clubs in their Prevention of Blindness Projects;

c)      To encourage Rotarians to be more involved in their concern for Prevention of Blindness;

d)     To organize medical screening for members of the Rotary family, friends and the public as part of the“Awareness and Action” commitment of Rotary;

e)      To increase awareness of a number of key areas related to Prevention of Blindness in regard to all walks of life and, in particular, the Young and the Elderly; and

f)       To provide a forum for the participants to ventilate their concerns about Eye-Sight and Eye-Care to a panel of Eye Specialists.

There will be free medical-screening concurrently with this Seminar at the same venue. The free medical-screening will include Screening for Eye Problems, Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure and Bone Density.
