CIR M01/08: MITI - SEMINAR ON “INCREASE AWARENESS ON THE IMPORTANT OF MALAYSIA HALAL CERTIFICATE” (AUG 7, SAT)

The objective of the seminar is to:

• Emphasize the importance and necessity of Halal and maximized the utility of the Halal standards, which developed by Malaysia government
• Malaysia government indirectly carried out its social responsibility to ensure more Halal products and premises can be used by people and fulfill their basic needs
• Increase the economic growth with potential market of the product with Halal certification which are not only recognized in Malaysia, but also to fulfill the needs of the international market.
• Enhanced the integrity and credibility of Malaysia in order to transform Malaysia into the Global Halal Integrity Center.
• Improve the understanding of business support provided by the government agencies in helping entrepreneurs to succeed in the Halal industry.
• Provide a platform for participants to explore business opportunities in Halal industry by creating network and expanding market.
