Seminar on Expanding the Usage of Local Rubber Products in Public Projects.

A seminar to enhance awareness and widen the usage of local rubber products in public projects will be held on 4 February 2005. This seminar will be officiated by the Honourable Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, YB Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui. The full day seminar organized by the Malaysian Rubber Board will be held as follows:

The objective of this seminar is to introduce and create awareness of existing rubber products in the areas of construction, engineering and transportation sectors among decision makers in the public sector.
The target group for this seminar is government agencies which include JKR, SEDC's and their subsidiaries together with the private sector. This seminar will serve to promote linkages between public sectors and local product manufacturers and also to brief the participants on the technicalities of rubber products which are manufactured locally.
