KUALA LUMPUR: The Expo Love Malaysia (Cintai Malaysia), aimed at promoting Malaysian products, is back.
The event, organised by The Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI), will be held at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) from Sept 6-10.
The exposition, being held for the sixth time, will showcase building materials, food and beverages, furniture and furnishings, garments, handicraft,
computer hardware and software, leather goods, machinery, pottery, property, sports and games equipment, tourism products, as well as automotive, metal and electronic and electrical products.
Organising chairman Michael Chai said: "The response has been very encouraging. More than 65% of the exhibition booths reserved for locals (400 booths) and foreign exhibitors (100) have been booked."
He added that the organising committee was seeking companies or exhibitors to sponsor prizes for games and contests that will be held in conjunction with the event.
The organising committee is also jointly producing commemorative Pu-erh tea bricks with Greenfood Enterprise Sdn Bhd, which will bear the logos of KLSCCCI and Expo Cintai Malaysia 2006.
Each tea brick weighs between 1kg to 3kg.
