GST Expo And Conference 2014 Receives Overwhelming Response
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 8 (Bernama) -- The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Expo and Conference 2014 to be held on Oct 1-3, 2014 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has received overwhelming response.
Spokesperson for Business Connection PLT Lau Hwei Choong said with a lot of misconception regarding to the GST registration number, businesses can take the opportunity to meet Royal Malaysian Customs (RMC) officers to apply for their GST registration number.
"There are booths set up by RMC in the exhibition hall to assist business owners and professionals in answering queries on GST which will be implemented on April 1, 2015," Choong said in a statement.
He said the highlight of the event would be eight industrial-based seminars with speakers from RMC who are very popular among consultants, software vendors and business owners.
"GST consultants find it very useful since it is a great opportunity to learn about industrial concerns and to address implementation issues during the question and answer session of the conference," he said.
The full list of seminars can be obtained on www.gstconference.com.
Besides, Choong also expected a great turn up for the expo as it was free.
He advised those interested to avoid long queues at the registration counter by registering in advance at www.gstexpo.com.
