SME Corp To Hand Over GST Impact Survey On SMEs This Month
KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 (Bernama) -- SME Corp Malaysia will hand over this month, the outcome of its survey on the impact of the Goods and Services Tax on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to Minister of International Trade and Industry (Miti), Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed.
SME Corp Chief Executive Officer Datuk Hafsah Hashim said the survey includes findings on the impact of the implementation of the minimum wage as well as cost of utilities.
"Having recently completed the survey, we are processing the numbers.
"We hope by mid-month to complete the analysis and share it with the minister," she told reporters at a networking event in conjunction with Smidex 2014 and SME week 2014 here Wednesday.
Hafsah said Mustapa will make a formal announcement on the findings of the survey.
