Warmest Greetings from SMI Johor Selatan!
The association wishes to extend our gratitude and thanks to all participants for attending and contributing to the success of our networking meeting which was held on April 3, 2007 at Hyatt Regency Hotel, Johor Bahru.
We wish to thanks YB Ng Lip Yong, Deputy Minister of Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI) present to grace the occasion. YB Ng had highlighted to audiences on the government policies relating to MITI, as well as incentives, grant and soft-loan that are available to SMI at MITI.
We were glad to have SMI Association of Malaysia National President, Mr Chua Tiam Wee attendance. We wish to thank Mr Chua for his present.
We also wish to thanks HSBC for their sponsorships toward the networking meeting/dinner.

This networking concluded the association efforts in assisting the flood victims on the grant application process for the Johor flood victims. Should there still be anyone who wishes to apply for the grants, kindly visit our website for guidelines on the procedures.
For the record, we wish note that from the total of 187 applications, 134 had been approved with another 50 application pending approval as at March 31, 2007. So far, RM5.4 million grants had been approved, which had surpassed the RM5 million marked! Kindly download the enclosed files for the details breakdown.
