Since the initiation of Micro Financing by the government through Bank Negara Malaysia in year 2006, small and micro businesses are in the spotlight but many of the micro businesses are not aware of the financial assistance available in the market for them. With the support of nine financial institutions offering micro financing loans, MIRC will be organizing the MIRC Micro Financing Expo in three states -Perak, Penang and Johor in April 2009.

The objectives of this Expo are as follow:

1. To increase the awareness amongst micro businesses towards the micro financing packages available in the market offered by the participating banks.

Act as one-stop financial solution centre for SMEs to acquire micro financing details, apply loans / credit facilities, inquire financial schemes, etc.
